Short Bios

WALTER H. SUTLIFF, III
Graduated from Lafayette College in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering.  Began employment with The Bolton Pratt Co. in June of 1970 and serves as President of the Corporation.  Is a member of Carpenter Contractors Assoc., Construction Industry Service Program (CISP) Trustee, and a trustee of The Cleveland Vicinity Carpenters Hospitalization Plan.

DAVID S. SMIK
Graduated from Arizona State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management.  Began employment with The Bolton Pratt Co. in June of 1973 and serves as Vice President and Secretary of the Corporation.  Is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America, Ohio Building Chapter, and Education Committee.

SCOTT C. ZANICK  [ e-mail ]
Graduated from the Carpenter’s Apprenticeship School in 1995.  Employed as a Carpenter Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager for local General Contractors from 1993 – 2001.  Attended Ohio State from 1989 - 1991 for Chemical Engineering.  Studied Computer Information Science at Cleveland State University from 1991 – 1992.  Experienced in implementing computer technology as a tool in coordinating, managing and collaborating to promote successful construction projects.  Began employment with The Bolton Pratt Co. in 2001.  Current responsibilities include Project Management, Estimating & CIS.

BARBARA A. BENKOWSKI
Attended Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University for  Accounting Management.  Employed by Bruce B. Brauston, M.D./ Ophthalmology Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. from 1977 – 2005, LR Development Corp. 2005 - 2006.  Employed at The Bolton Pratt Co. from 10/2006 – present.  Handles all project accounting and bookkeeping.

WILLIAM J. SPRINZL, SR
Attended Cleveland State University 1967-1968.  Completed Carpenter Apprentice program in 1972.  Worked for A.M. Higley Co. from 1972 – 1987.  Worked for Stevens-Patton, Acme Arsena Corp., Wiegan Cabinets, Cicerello Construction, Roediger Construction, Forest City Corporation and Dick Corporation from 1987 – 1990.  Commenced career with The Bolton Pratt Co. in 1990.  Became General Field Superintendent in 1996.  Financial Secretary of Carpenter’s Local 395 in 1982.
